Gunsmithing Stock for Rem 700 SPS Tactical Barreled Action

Re: Stock for Rem 700 SPS Tactical Barreled Action

pretty much any quality aftermarket stock (McM, B&C, HS, Manners to name a few) is capable of being inletted for DBM. I just recently installed a B&C Light tactical on my SPS and absolutely love it. The HS precision i had on it was nice too, but a little too long LOP for me.

I'll make the assumption that you want a no-gunsmith solution.
You will want to look at any of the AICS stocks as well as the AX chassis if it's available.
Then you can look at the XLR and McCree chassis systems.
All of these are aluminum stocks that are setup for AI AICS mags.

Or you can purchase any Manners stock with the mini-chassis.
That will also take AICS mags.

Or, you can order any custom made composite stock from McMillan or Manners and specify that the bottom me inletted for your choice of bottom metal.
Then you purchase your choice of bottom metal and bolt it all together.
You will most likely want to bed a composite stock so that is a "some gunsmithing required" type of job though you may be able to do it yourself.

There are other chassis systems as well, just look at them to be sure what type of magazine they will take.

Lastly, you can get a Wyatt's bottom metal that will fit into traditional remington "BDL" stock inlets.
This would allow you to pick up a $200ish HS or B&C composite stock and just bolt it all together.

Thanks for the info! I think I'm leaning toward the McRee stocks, since it's the most affordable of the bunch, and everything comes bundled together.
