I had a pretty awesome day at the range today with a buddy of mine from the local area ("shooten" here on the hide). We were supposed to reload some rounds today but I didn't allow enough time for the brass to dry so we decided to make a trip to the range instead. He brought out his chrono and we made a day of it. I've been shooting SW ammo for a while now, but today was the first time getting to run the new ammo that Southwest offers that replaced the "Run N Gun" through a chrono. The numbers were very very consistent and, as always, the ammo was pretty accurate.

These were only the first five rounds that we took the velocities on. All in all the day was a great way to spend some time collecting good data for my rifle. My only concern was the possibility of some slight overpressure. I saw cratering in the primer and a little buildup on the neck of the brass from the bullet but other than that, things were perfect. Great job Southwest. Another satisfied customer.
And here is a picture of two of the five shot groups.
