so i know i probably need to take it to my smith but every 10 rds or so i have round get stuck and i have to pop loose my bottom metal to get it out. is there a quick fix for this?

Re: 7005r feeding issues

I have the same issue sometimes, Im still working on it but i figured its a bit to do with how you load your rounds into the mag and sometimes they feed wrong. By being absolutely meticulous in the way I put them in ive cut down a fair few problems but also if you feel it starting to jam or get tight take the pressure of the bolt pull it back about 1mm and then push it forward again. but as said before also try different ammo if you still have trouble

Re: 7005r feeding issues

yeah i've tried different ammunition seems not to affect the issue. i don't have a dbm yet, it's still the hs stock with floor plate, but hopefully i'm picking up a manners t5a this weekend which has a dbm. so we'll see if that changes anything.

Yeh im looking at getting a dbm for AI mags i reckon it would be a great addition to the rifle

Re: 7005r feeding issues

It could be a bunch of different things. When you say it gets stuck, do you mean the round pops off the follower and instead of being pushed into the chamber, is pushed into the relief cut for the bolt nose (the area around the chamber entrance)? If so, it could be something as simple as the way you're cycling the bolt. Give me a little more detail...
