Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
Ok guys I am a gun nut and I have a problem.... I am selling my Hummer and buying a cheap car so I can buy more guns, gun parts and ammo. What do you guys think?
As long as you new vehicles can hold and hide your firearms, without awkward cramming. And provided you can still drive to where you want to camp , shoot, hunt, or practice you should be good. Are you good to go without towing options?
If your looking to save money buy an older 4 runner. I bought one last year,a '98 with 183k miles and runs like a champ. Fits all my gear, tinted windows and is ok on the fuel. I wish I'd bought a beater like this years ago...

Then it seems that you really don't need to be asking for our opinion!
I'm a car guy through-and-through; if you cut me, I bleed motor oil. And even at that, I find myself spending less money on depreciating hunks of metal that want to suck every dollar from my bank account.
Every time I see a hummer on the road, I think negative thoughts. Not because of gas mileage though. In my opinion, anyone can spend their treasure on what they want. If they want 10 mpg, so be it.
Sounds like a good plan. If the gun in your car is worth more than your car you have your priorities straight. With some exceptions. Car payments = boo hoo.

I hate to tell you this bro but all most nothing is <span style="font-style: italic">made</span> in America. Maybe <span style="font-style: italic">assembled</span> in America but not <span style="font-style: italic">made</span>. Honda's are assembled in the US just the same as a Harley-Davidson. If you want <span style="font-style: italic">made</span> in America rebuild a classic with parts <span style="font-style: italic">made</span> in America. Otherwise it is a mut.
If you really want to be economical and if you don't have it already buy reloading equipment, save your brass and collect brass at the range. Sell your tug boat and buy a used honda or toyota. If you want something bigger check out the smaller suv's. At least you'll have more places to go shooting should you need to off road a little bit. I saved a lot by getting a .22 conversion kit for my AR so now if I'm just plinking or shooting targets 50 yards away I'm not burning through expensive .223 ammo. Shit, sell your Hummer and buy not only a used car but also a motorcycle.
