Growing up as a kid in northen commifornia (the Emerald Triangle) we used to hike down to the creek and there was a pot field along the way. We would simply skirt around the edge of it and never had any issues. This of course was many years ago and there wasn't the issues associated with pot fields then like there is today. There isn't an abundance of pot fields here in Arizona, to my knowledge, but we did locate one along the river. It was mentioned to by friend who happens to be a Sgt. with the SO here. The land that it was on was acquired shortly after by the NPS and the Feds took care of the problem.

Depends. If the growers are speaking anything but english, get the fuck out and call the cops. While it would be nice to help rid the US of illegals vigilante style it is best to let the LOE's handle that. At least in a court of law.

first make sure its not a legal grow and the owners dont have a permit. second, if you think it might be connected the foreign drug cartels, call the cops. so given the op's options, id post up and collect intel if your legally allowed on the property.

I have hunted property back in Oklahoma, where you drove through a few acres of wild growing marijuana/hemp. Looked and smelled like the real deal, but no buzz(field testing for verification purposes only). And you could see it growing wild from the highway, local and state LE was awre of it growing, so...
If its public land then report it otherwise, mind your own business and stop tresspassing.
