Ok guys, I am not bashing chassis at all. Actually, I am trying to justify purchasing one and I need some help. I currently have a remmy 5r 308 that shoots 1/2 all day. It has a bc a5 stock on it now. Will I gain any accuracy whith say an xlr or an aics? Just curious. Thanks for the input.

If you are getting 1/2MOA out of a factory rifle consistently, no i wouldnt change a thing

As said i wouldn't change anything if it is infact shooting 1/2 MOA "all day".

That said, if you like the B&C A5 style another option, instead of the thumbhole/AR pistol grip chassis, is the Manners Mini Chassis system which can go in their stocks. You get a more standard stock look and feel with the ease of install and DBM capabilities.

Well, in my opinion it really comes down to bedding. If you have a chassis it is much more friendly if you remove your barreled action from the chassis frequently. Also solvents will not damage a chassis after repeated exposure, bedding I'm not so sure.

A quality chassis will not hurt accuracy, and tend to be more consistant in various conditions (Temp, Humididty, etc.).

Honestly though, if you want it get it. No need to justify a thing.
