Hey guys, I know Norma brass is usually GTG but is it good in .338 Laupa as compared to Lapua brass?

How about Hornady .338 brass?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Norma brass for .338 Laupa mag GTG?

I don't have any experience with the Hornady brass, but the Norma Brass has been good for me. I've got 100 of the Lapua and 100 of the Norma.
I (5 minutes ago) just got done prepping and priming the Lapua brass for their second reloads, so I can not testify too much into their durability.
In my tumbler is about 50 rounds of the Norma brass that is on its 8th reload, so I am quite happy with it's durability; especially since I learned to reload with this brass and made all of the usual FNG mistakes on it.
A far as accuracy, I haven't been able to tell a difference, at 100 yards or at 1000.

Hope this helps, if you have any other questions feel free to PM.
Below is a group I shot with Norma Brass.

Back in '06, I stated with a small lot of twenty new Norma 338LM cases and had a neck split after the second cycle, for some reason. I'm now at about six, seven, or eight cycles and the nineteen remaining cases are fine.

It's actually about ten grains heavier than the sample I measured from the eighty Lapua brand cases I started running back then.
