before it gets going off topic and every optic in the world is mentioned.......i know put the money toward a leopold, nikon, vortex, yadda yadda etc etc.

i've had previous experience with BSA, all have been sent back, perhaps i answered my own question there, perhaps this particular model is different in than the usual BSA.

question is has anyone used this:

$150.00 bucks, most reviews that sounds like they came from a credible source are favorable.

any input on those that actually used this scope would be appreciated.

if no one wants to admit it they can PM me.

going on a .22lr, ranges from 50 to 300 yards, will be cranking the turrets alot.

how's the clarity between 20-24x?

turrets repeatable?

I personally wouldn't. I've never tried this scope, so maybe my input is worthless, but if you're going to be using the turrets a lot, go for something a bit more reliable. The SWFA SS comes to mind. It has very good tracking, parallax adjustment down to 10yds, mil/mil, and a ton of elevation adjustment. Cheap scopes (not the same as inexpensive) just don't do well when you start using the turrets hard, which you'll be doing a lot of with a .22lr at 300yds.

I had an older 6-24x BSA with an adjustable objective for parallax, while the turrets were "somewhat" repeatable, the glass was trash. As in couldnt read numbers at 100 yards trash.

Maybe they improved on this, but I just remember it as being a low end scope.

3-page thread with several hands-on reviews for it here: http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2527147&page=1

Lots of naysayers in that thread who are just basing their opinions on BSA's other products.

IMO, you generally get what you pay for, but I don't think there are *any* other Mil/Mil FFP scopes for $150.

That being said, I don't think I'd put it on anything other than a .22.

you get what you pay for, $150 rifle scope is a waste of good money.
