WWhat 300 Win Mag Ammo???

Newbie here and I just bought a 5R in 300WM and wanted to know what ammo would be a good starter? I am new to a 300WM. Thanks for any input.

Lots of questions! Hunting or range work? How far are you going to shoot? What twist is that barrel?

For now just range time and its a 1:10 rate.How far, well as far I can. I am a newbie if that matters haha!

I have run both 190gr and 220gr Sierra Match Kings in mine, both work great. It's a 1:10 twist also. I think some others are running the 208 AMAX, but I've not tried it.

The 220 will probably outperform the lighter bullets at longer ranges.

I have great loads with the 190 SMK, 208 A-max and 225 grain Hornady BTHP. Any of those will vork very well.
