just found a used t3 lite in a gun shop, and i have a m24 style blank barrel . can the barrel be used for that action ? i dont know much about tikka, thanks

just wish there was more options on stocks, i hope i can pick up that t3 on the cheep. barrel is a 1 in 12 , hope it will be ok for a 300 win mag . been told i can run up to a 190 gr .... if i cant use i for a 300, guess ill save it for a m24

Also, lots of new stock options out there including McMillan, Manners, Bell and Carlson, Robertson, PSE to name a few. I bought my LH HSS stock prior to McMillan announcing they were inletting for Tikka's
My build consist of facing off the small factory receiver recess and blue print the action
Install/pin custom Remington heavy duty style recoil lug machined to the Tikka internal receiver diameter and contoured the lug to the outside of the receiver.
Install a #3 24” Brux barrel chambered for .243 win
Thread for a for suppressor Muzzle Cap 5/8” X 24 TPI
Cerakote barreled action
Pillar bed the action to stock HSS left-handed Laminated classic stock

someone said B&C was making a stock but i cant find any thing on it , manners looks like a good deal . looks almost just like the Mcm A2. iv seen some great shooting guns built on B&C stocks .

Are the aftermarket stocks coming with a built in recoil lug like the factory or how does that work? I like the sounds of pinning a remington style lug and then contouring it.

Yes, all of the new aftermarket stocks I've seen are coming with their own recoil lug built into the stock for the Tikka's as that is the way they are built. The internal receiver diameter on a Tikka is approx. 1/16" smaller than Rem so the smith who does the recoil lugs needs to machine it from scratch. Having said that I still feel the rem style lug is way stronger and more solid than the Tikka lug.

NICE rifles guys ! , has anyone used the new B&C stock ? the t3 lite is darn accurate . last week i seen a friend of mine shoot 30 rounds , and bust 30 clays at 500 yards. i did not see that coming from a t3 lite!
