Gene Stoney, owner of Bar-Sto Precision asked us to coat his AR for 3 gun competition. Gene likes different stuff, so he gave Kalli and loooooonnnnnngggggg leash on this one.

He was gigglin like a little kid when he saw it. Nothing quite like the visual of a 240lb grown man posing as an 8th grade cheerleader!

He's ready if we ever invade San Francisco!

Some dude carrying a pink AR and wearing a pink man-skirt? I'm not ashamed to admit that would frighten me a little.

    Re: Team PINK!

That's bad ass, I would love to take that deer hunting just to see the reactions of the other guys I hunt with.

    Re: Team PINK!

I have a quick slightly off topic question... how do you get good paint coverage on the inside of something like that hand guard without having problems with the paint running? I have a Ruger MK1 I'm in process of refinishing, but I'm kinda stumped at how to get a good finish inside the action, at least what you would see through the ejection port. I'm just worried about either having it run, or not getting complete coverage. Thanks

    Re: Team PINK!

Kalli painted it completely tore down. It's how we do everything on guns like this. Makes for more work as you have to spend a bit more time getting the masking (stencils) to line up properly, but it gives it a very complete appearance when done this way.

Girly has got some skills. She's a bad ass with a paint gun.

My daughter would love one !
she has a pink .177 air rifle now. perhaps in a couple of years I may have to get out the krylon on an AR platform for her.

If you ever saw Chiller in his man skirt, you SHOULD be frightened...

    Don't paint inside the action.
It often causes problems with the function of the gun.

    Re: Team PINK!

Didn't he move to South Dakota from California? That might explain the paint job!
Tell Stoney the chinaman says hello!

Funny vid. Getting back out of that cart had to suck.

I have much to learn about the finer points of tactical shooting!!!

Congrats on being chosen by NIC, Chad.

Wait till you see the Moped she's gonna be working on!

She used to steal her brothers all the time as a kid. So I got her one after hot rodding a buddy's. We went from 25mph to almost 60. It's a death trap.

    Kalli's will be significantly quicker.

    Big bore kit
    Delordo carb
    Tuned pipe
    16:1 head
    Tank full of VP Q16
8oz Nitrous kit from Nitrous express (yes, I did say nitrous on a moped)

    Re: Team PINK!

That stuff is just plain cool as a moose!

Pink is just another color, as far as I'm concerned.

It has the added advantage of being rather uncommon on a shooting line, so anything purloined of mine is gonna stand out right off the bat.

It's my favorite antitheft deterrent. It's also easier to find in the grass, etc. If I need camo, I'll use camo. I don't really need a lot of camo.

People wanna murmer, I got no problem with that. I know who and what I am, and anybody has a problem can kiss my...; well, we don't even really need to go there...

Sounds like my little brother. Always working on his YFZ450 to make it faster/ better.

    Re: Team PINK!

I have built quite a few pro street and race cars and a few bikes. All I can say is laughing gas makes everything better. The slower something is to start with, the more fun it is to make it go fast.
