Vortex's legendary customer service is a big reason I chose the brand when I purchased my first "real" rifle scope a few months ago. While I'm disappointed that I was required to test their customer service procedures on such a new scope, I have to say that they fully lived up to expectation.

Windage turret came loose because it appeared that the detent was too stiff, breaking loose the thread lock that the use where the pot screws into the scope body. I pulled their warranty claim form off the internet and shipped the scope in early last week. A week later I got the scope back completely repaired, no questions asked. Looks good as new.

I have the 4-16 PST and the SPARC. The rubber cap broke on the SPARC when I tried to strech it on the scope with the 2x magnifier on it. called Vortex, told them I broke it, no problem they sent me two free of charge.

We accidentally dropped a pair of binos out of the pickup and ran over one side of them while hunting one day. Vortex replaced them no questions asked. They even called to say that they had discontinued the color we sent in and asked if it would be ok if they sent a different color.

I bought my PST used here on the Hide. It arrived broken. Called Vortex and was told send it in and we will fix of replace it. One week latter I had a brand new scope!

It arrived broken? Via shipping damage or sent in that condition?

Vortex VIP is backed by good people who care. I had a customer who recently asked for a receipt for his Vortex scope that had issues and I said "What for" no receipt required, end of story.

I worked with a Vortex rep today on a warranty issue. All I can say is they have awesome CS and really took care of me. As long as the products are quality and Vortex stands behind their product I will be a customer, Thanks Vortex!
