RWSGunsmithing, I don't like his ads, so I don't open his posts. The for sale thread that's a link to his website for some reason bugs the shit out of me, I'm instant gratification and an impulse buyer. I just read right past them.
SWFA ads are fine to me. It's not like they are listing all their new products that I can find on their site. They only list the sample sale and discounted stuff, those are typically good deals. Why would I care if a used S&B that's a good deal was posted by SWFA or any other member? I'd actually prefer SWFA as they are reputable, able to take CC and usually have good pictures showing condition. So in the case of a used item in the for sale section I'd say I want SWFA to advertise even more!
As LL said, the sponsors pay the bills, they typically do a fair job or providing a service and aren't a hindrance. I think that you need to look past the orange color and just see them as any other seller with good stuff that you need

WOW?? I guess I didn't know it was causing any problems. How would you like to see me do it? I like using the website for the purchases this way it elimates any "mine" or "I posted first" arguments.
I will say this that I can tell when my posts here on the hide get buried as my web traffic goes down significantly.
Your right SWFA doens't have alot of post's in the for sale section but if you notice they also have banners running here on the hide so they don't need to. I can't afford to have a banner here on the hide at them moment so I have to bump my adds to get the traffic I need to sell.
