I just shot 55 rounds out of my 338lapua and i cannot get any kind of grouping with it.... so its like impossible to sight it in.... Has anyone ever had this problem with a nightforce moar zero stop ill post a pic of the targets in a min... But i might exchange this night force for another oner just to make sure its not the scope....
I checked rings and mounts but all are tight and still having issues...

Re: nightforce will not zero

Lots of variables to consider. Make a complete breakdown of everything you are using in order to help figure things out. What kind of rings and mounts? Ammo? Distance to zero? None of my Nightforce scopes have had this problem, ever. My guess is there is something else going on.

Re: nightforce will not zero

Night force low scope rings
Low night force scope mount
Remmington 700 sps action
Accuracy international chassie
Corbon 250 grain
I never was able to zero it... It was my first time shooting my lapua sense i changed scopes and i was doing quarter sized groups. Then changed scopes and could not get any groups at all

Re: nightforce will not zero

Check your torque and then check it again. Rings to base, rings to tube, any loose fit between any of those points will ruin your day of shooting. This I know, as a while back I neglected to adequately tighten my rings to my base and after a few shots I was all over the place. After rechecking my torque I as back to sub moa groups. Good luck.

Re: nightforce will not zero

Well i ended up exchanging that night force out with a new one....
Problem is they gave me a 5.5x22x56 instead of the 5.5x22x50 so i was wondering if this gap is ok? Or is it to close to the barrel

Perfect clearance, NF are best bang for the buck. Period.

Re: nightforce will not zero

Clearance should be just fine. I ran my nf 5.5-22 with that much and had no issues.
