A while back I thought I would get the MCS-T3 stock. After thinking about it for a while, I decided that was just to closed minded to decide on that one and not consider the rest of the MANNERS TACTICAL STOCKS. So a buddy of mine and I are going to load up on the seconed Friday of August so I can put my hands on all four tactical models and then make a decision on the one I want. KC is only 1 1/2 hours from were I live. I would like to hear back from other members which stock they picked from MANNERS and what they think of their stock. Also doesn't SHORTBUS work there?

Just pick one. You can't go wrong.
The T5-A is my favorite for a range rifle.
Shortbus (Branden) works for Manners. He also does some killer stock painting as a side line business.

Re: MANNERS STOCKS

I love my T4A, I like the forend when shooting off hand and as I shoot it mostly prone I like the rear hook. I also like my McMillan A5A just as much. Both are are worth considering in my opinion.

The T5A is a great option if you like the thumb hole option. One thing I will say no matter what stock you go with I think the adjustable comb is worth the extra cost.

Re: MANNERS STOCKS

yes I am gettind the adjustable check piece, when I first started looking at them ai was in favor of the MCS-T3, but now I am really eyeing the 5T/A. Stockys Stocks has them all but only in black, or coyote tan. I do kinda of like the coyote tan

Re: MANNERS STOCKS

My travels took me to KC a month ago, I visited Manners and ended up going with the T4A. Should be here in Oct.:) All the MCS stocks are amazing, I almost went with the T5, but because I'm a lefty and wanted the KMW hardware, I opted for the T4A instead. I also decided while there, that the thumbhole wasn't for me.

I would also recommend visiting GA Precision while you're there. They are only just down the street (literally), and have almost every stock you could want to see, from all the manufacturers, with rifles mounted in them. Beware though, doing this could cause you to spend a lot more money.

Re: MANNERS STOCKS

well.....if it is just down the street I just might have to stop in and beg them to let me look

Re: MANNERS STOCKS

T3 is a good choice. All my Manners are T3s. I have one on my 6.5 Creedmoor, 300WM and I am having a .243/.308 switch barrel made with a T3 with a mini chassis. I find the T3 work great in any shooting position.

Re: MANNERS STOCKS

I have a T4 A and two T4, a friend has an MCS-T, all great stocks, I had my hands on T2 and T5 and they are also very confortable and well designed.
yo cannot go wrong with Manners stocks and Tom is a really great guy that takes care of his customers.
