Does anyone who shoots left handed use a Spuhr mount?

I ask because it seems it will be difficult to see bubble on the the left side of rifle.

I will have to pull glasses down to see bubble anyway because I'm nearsighted and have bifocal in bottom of glasses too.

Re: Spuhr mount for left handed shooterw

I have a Spuhr and a left handed shooter got behind the rifle. He mentioned that he could not see the bubble very easily without moving from position. A righty can see it with little effort.

I'm a lefty and am facing the same scenario. The Spuhr individual rings may be your ticket. They have a bubble level mounted on either side of the ring. My problem is I have a USO with a 58mm obj lens and their 1-inch 34mm rings aren't high enough! Some days you just can't win.

How high?

Approximately when will they be available for retail purchase?

Re: Spuhr mount for left handed shooterw

I am a lefty. I shot my friends rifle with a Spuhr on it. Maybe I am not that picky but it really didn't bother me. I felt i could see it good enough to make shots. I also shoot RH guns so i don't know. Hell I have never even fired a LH gun. LOL

I do have to say that regardless of the bubble I will be putting one on my AIAW. It is probably one of the nicest mounting systems out there. Machine work was very nice and the mount was very robust.

I got tired of the guessing and PM'ed Hakan yesterday about this very issue. He replied quickly. The higher rings will be in the 1.125 range (enough to clear a 58mm USO sitting on a 30moa base with a MTU contour barrel). SWEET! ETA unknown though.

I have shot Turtle Snipers rifle. At the time I was interested in the feel of the AICS chassis and the CG X-treme trigger. I had planned on using rings from TRG-22 on new build but they were to low. Did not pay that much attention to scope mount.

I ended up having a rifle built with the AICS and CG trigger and other assorted parts.
