I have a Remington X.C.R. tactical two, in 300 win mag, that I have been doing some load work ups for.
I started off with Remington Brass, Federal match primer, 210 smk and H1000. I ran the powder in .5 grain incriments from 74 to 79 grains with really no luck at all. I got one group under .85 and the rest wear in the 1.5 to 2.0 inch group at 100 yards.
Switched over to the 208 amax. 74.5 grains of H1000 gave me about a 1.10 inch group. 75 grains of H1000 I shot a 5 shot .38 inch group. Then shot a .57 inch 5 shot group. Ran it out to 200 yards and shot a .79 5 shot group. That is .about 3/8 moa. I was very happy to finally get this gun shooting the way it was suppose to be. Thanks for everyone who has posted load work ups or reviews on here that helped me out.
