Searching the site for "bolt knobs" his work seems pretty popular, but 63 people have viewed this post and no one has responded.
I just want a bolt knob and his work looks like the best I've seen.

Matt (monteboy84), is definitely still doing bolt work, which IMO short of having Tac Ops do the work is the best work around. I'd venture that no one else replied because they don't know what's going on with Matt and they don't know for sure. I wouldn't rely on PMs' here - sometimes they're sent and go off into Never Neverland with no indication to the would-be recipient that a PM was sent to him or her by another Member (and the Sender also has no way to know that the Member the PM was sent to didn't receive it).
Are you a Member over at Sniper Central? I'm pretty sure that Matt is over there more than here. I would try sending monteboy84 a PM over there as well as sending him another email. And since Matt hasn't replied to an email, it's also possible that he may be out of town and/or away from the computer. Or, maybe he's just really busy repairing bolt work done by a Member here - I know of several Hide' members who had Matt fix their bolts after said "gunsmith" worked on them.
Another reason why I feel that the TOBKC (Tac Ops Bolt Knob Conversion) is the best aftermaket bolt knob conversion. For those who don't know the preferred method of installing a TOBKC or the proper procedure (it's definitely not an easy DIY install, and I've seen some hack bolt knob installs posted here, including improperly-installed TOBKCs'), check-out monteboy84's "
More bolt knob installation pictures" thread for some great photos and an idea of what's involved in the installation.
