Lightweight contour/mfr suggestion

I am looking for a precision-quality lightweight contour 7-twist carbine length .223 barrel, similar in size and weight to the 7-twist sporter barrels produced by Colt in the 80's for their 16" AR carbines.

Would anyone have a suggestion as to manufacturer/contour/stock number?

I have been running a light weight 16" RRA 1-7 chrome lined mid length barrel and have been very happy with it.

Wilson Combat lightweight tactical. Very nice barrels.

I just installed a 16" Daniel Defense Lightweight, I recommend them.

A few that come to mind are Daniel Defense, Palmetto State Armory and Bravo Company.

I like the DDefense ones best. If I were building a 16" right now I might get on the melonited bandwagon though.

I like the Wilson, but it's not in stock. Who makes it for Wilson?

I have a couple of Daniel Defense lightweight contour 1:7 CL barrels and they have been excellent.

If Wilson is out of stock you can try midway. I ran into the same issue and ended going through midway. I actually saved a few bucks.

I have the last one and it is a tack driver. Bagged rest doing load devel I shot several 5shot groups the size of bottlecaps @ 100 and it is only 3-4 ounces heavier than my DDefense midlength at the most.
