308 bolt face calibre change

Its not something im planning on doing but it never hurts to know more about guns I was wondering if I had a rifle that was set up in 308 and I needed a new barrel for it, what calibre barrels could I use but keep the same dbm and mags. and do you need to always change the bolt face or if you turnt it into a 243 could you keep the original bolt as is

Without changing anything but the barrel: 7mm-08, 243, 260... and those are just the most popular

Oh yes i should have been a bit clearer i know about 7mm-08 and 243
