What color do I need to cerakote my action?

Guys I need some input. I have a build I am almost ready to cerakote. The stock is green and I plan to leave it that way. Every other gun I have is flat black and I want to paint this one a different color. The rifle is a hunting gun so I want to cover up the stainless. Any thought or pics would be appreciated.

You should do it "red" you know, so it makes you look like a go-fast, at the sharp end, tactical, operator. 8)

More seriously, where do you live? What is the foliage you hunt in? What blends?

    There is your answer.

I hunt in Alabama. I was thinking tan for the metal. Where I hunt the color of your gun does not matter much. I think cerakote protects the metal and looks cool as well.

Bright pink. Don't just half ass it, really ruin that rifle!

I personally like the green stock tan action look. It's your rifle, get funky with it!

Michael Rowe of tupelo custom weaponry is doing the cerakote. He does amazing work.

I'm having a gun built on a green AICS, I am going to have the action more of a brown color than a tan, but it comes down to preference and utility for your area.

It is a hunting gun for an area where "the color of your gun doesn't matter much" but, because it is a hunting gun you want to cover up the stainless? If it is, in fact, stainless and not bright steel (not blued), why are you covering it? If it were me I'd leave it bright- but I have a safe full of stainless guns...

Like someone else said, pick a color you like.
