Even though some guys on here bash the Series II Kimbers, everytime I walk into a gun shop, I look for a Super Carry Pro. Something about that black slide and round heel.

Had a Taurus Judge 3" stainless. But my daughter loved it, and stole it, and now it's her personal defense weapon. But on a lighter note, I don't have to worry about the boys, she takes care of that for me.

Man I love mine. It has been 100% reliable so far. about 3400 rounds worth of my 200g cast home brews, kimber mags and all. I only wish it had Novak sights, but besides that its great.
Very comfortable in a VMII, the round heel is great. I always liked the custom bobtails but they were $$ big money. Lots of options now.

That's great. I know how I am and even with some of the legitimate concerns of the Series IIs, I will own this gun. Yours looks good with the black grips as well.

If not has anyone ever offered aftermarket threaded barrels?

Kimber Custom CDP. Great for EDC and I got a very good deal on it.

My 1911 Volkmann ion bonded with a rail and VZ grips, just ordered a ion bonded with a threaded barrel and no rail

My Smith 1006 adj. sight model is my probably my favorite. I love 10mm and that thing is sort of THE ten. Slings 180's at 1350+fps!

I love my Glocks and Smiths, I sort of come back every time. The G17L also holds a place in my heart, I wanted one of those, bad, for ten or fifteen years before I got a brand new 3rd gen.

I'm about done with my collection, what I want anyway. Made a deal with the wife, if I get to get one damn nice rifle and glass, that I'd stop stocking up. I showed her the Cheytac M200 (I figure if you have that, practice is the only thing that will tighten LR groups!). So the only handgun I really feel I'd like to add before that final buy would be a scandium .44, the 329.

My favorite would be the Glock 20, I love the 10MM.

Most wanted, a factory Glock .22lr.

Glock 21 Gen 4. Big bore and ultra reliable. Gonna send it off to boresight solutions soon.

1950's vintage S&W K22. Cheap to feed and it is an excellent tool for teaching new shooters.

I love my 1911's. short of a legal to own Glock 18(as a previous poster mentioned) then a real pistol I could own would be a Jardine 1911.

Number 1 is a Springfield TRP with full length rail. sexiest handgun imo. Second would be a CZ Dan Wesson. Third would be a Guncrafter Industries 1911 in 50GI just for fun

P7PSP is my favorite gun and my everyday carry piece. The M13 is the gun I want the most.

My Colt Delta Elite 10mm. Great all around cartridge for personal protection from 2 and 4 legged creatures and ssmack down capability on bambi!

well for the most wanted there are many. and why I dont own them yet is most are BIG $$$.

As far as my favorite that I own, is a Sig 1911 45. For an out of the box gun it looks, feels, and shoots like a custom. I'm very impressed with Sig's 1911.

My favorite that is currently in the safe is a Glock 17 that has had a grip reduction and stippling job by Diversified Firearms Concepts. I used to not be a big fan of Glocks, but with the right mods I've learned to like them. I have a 19 with the same treatment and recently sent off a 21SF and another 17 to get the grip work done.

My most wanted handgun is a Springfield Professional Operator. I sold the one I had to a friend a few years ago and I think I've finally talked him into selling it back to me.

My favorite go to is my Smith 4506 LE trade in. Eats everything, built like a tank, and is a lazer.

I like my 229 in 40 cal that I sent in for the short trigger and action enhancement, night sights. I went for the upgrades since it fits so well in my hand and shot so well when stock.

CCW I like my glock 23. It's a generation I and still going strong. I trust it completely. No screw on grips makes it nice and slim for iwb. 13 x 40 cal rounds is plenty.

I still don't have a 1911 so that would be my next choice for wants

When I use a pistol they will be within 25 meters. Failure drill with a .50 desert eagle. I know they down!

My custom 1911 in 10mm. Caspian frame and slide, titanium trigger assy., Schuemann match barrel, BP Technology muzzle brake, custom G-10 hand grips, built by C&S Custom Machine in Coffee Springs, AL. Very well balanced and accurate pistol. So fun to shoot I never have ammo for it.

I have a buddy that has a 2011 model STI 10mm with a double stack magazine. Awesome weapon!

Favorites are my S&W M&P 9mm Pro with TruGlo sights and M&P 45 with Trijicon sights. Both are reliable and accurate.

If I were limited to one gun it would probably be this one, for all around general purpose use I have come to like a bobtailed commander length 1911 better than just about anything. Although I also have a CCO (also by Dan Wesson) that would be a very close second.
