looks better than the micro they have out. at least its on a 700 action so you can get stuff for it

Can't find anything on Remington's site, but does look interesting.

331V8, had a 700 rebarreled for 300Whisper, you had to run the bolt hard to eject the spent case, else it dropped into the raceway.

Possibly closer to $700. Just a guess since the .308 model comes in around $620 and I think these will be priced higher. If the demand is there it could make them even more expensive.

We have changed everything to 1/7 for more stability.

All of the ammo has velocity specs for 16 inch barrels. About 2400 fps for 110 grain.

I think most would rather pay a little more for a serviceable stock and trigger. Remington should either realize that, or start selling barreled actions! CKruse

I am in the same boat as you but with people like McCourt Ammunition and Copper Creek that are on here as vendors their pricing is pretty damn good. Look them up.

I hope it is, b/c that would be a lot better than buying an SPS 223 tactical and swapping it out with AAC's 300blackout barrel priced at $400!

Looks interesting. I was thinking about building or buying a 300 Blkout bolt gun. This makes the decision much easier.

I'll be all over this. Even if the stock is a throw away, I've got enough stocks laying around that it will be much cheaper and a heck of a lot quicker than a build. Love the 1-7" twist too.

rsilvers- i am interested in the micro 7. have all the feeding extracting issues been solved with them yet. and are they going to do any more production of the micro7.

...Emailed Remington yesterday, got a response this morning. "Response Via Email(Danny) - 08/01/2012 10:34 AM Production of the 700 in 300 Blackout has been pushed back to the fourth quarter of this year. They should be available before the holidays. Our apologies for the delays."

So does the 1/7 stabilize the 240gr smk better? I have a Savage built up in this configuration(w/ 1-8 twist) and it puts 240gr subs inside MOA.

I hope they release it...many are waiting. I'm ready to buy a Stevens/Savage and rebarrel it at this point in time. Suppressor goodness awaits.
