I have some 69g SMK's shooting quite nicely out of a pair of RRA's. Is the performance on game similiar to that of there larger caliber brothers?

I feel very confident about putting them where they need to be. The largest thing they will be used on is Oklahoma deer with a top end live weight at around 180'ish.

Re: 223 69g SMK

I can't directly answer your question about 69 smks. I can however tell you I never have a problem with 77 smks.

put it in the head or neck your good. If you hit heavy bone they can break up and not make it to the vitals. I have hit hogs behind the shoulder that got up and ran had to put the dogs on them when they caught up they still had plenty of fight left. when they were cleaned bullets never made it through the shield.

They will blow a ground hog and racoon nearly in half. This is 200y and under with a muzzle velocity around 2800. Appear to act much like the 30 cal berger vld's I have used for deer...
