It should do fine. It offers great ballistics and power. I have 1 and I never get to shoot them, just the .308 and .260 get shot now but the X55 holds a special place in my heart. Man that is really nice! I am in the process of gathering the parts for one of those myself. Bought the action today. Is the barrel you have a 8.5 or an 8 twist?

That's about as good as it gets if you ask me. I think this caliber is really under rated here in the US. You have access to great brass(Lapua). It has light recoil...excellent accuracy...what is not to like? Can't wait to get all of my parts! Good luck in Wyoming!

That is very nice package!

The swede is a real classic caliber, and I have converted several people after they shot mine.

What seating depth worked for the 140VLD? I just got some this week, but my factory Winchester throat won't allow me to reach lands, so they would need to jump a long ways... .
