Re: The Ledge

I LOVE them!!! I really don't know why anyone would go with ramped sights anymore if there's any chance the chosen pistol would be a carry piece! My ledge sights work really well. These are photos I've had for a while, but the sight ledge hooks forward every so slightly, making a catch on holster lip. pocket edge, belt very positive!

Here are mine. . .

Re: The Ledge

My only upgrade I am looking to do on my 1911 is put a set of Heinie Straight 8 Ledges on.

The standard Trijicons just don't do it for me.

My wife is looking for a Glock 19, the first thing I'm doing to it is putting a set of Straight 8's on it

Re: The Ledge

I love them, I have the supressor Heinie ledge sights on mine and they are fantastic. My only gripe is I have to check the little allennscrews after every couple hundred rounds. I could use a dab of locktight but I would rather not. Excellent visability, fast sight aquirement, allthough they do take a few range trips to get used to if you are used to three dots. And the perfect amount of air in between the front snd rear sight. So far they are my favs.
