New version AICS?

I received an AICS from AI today as part of a test and evaluation project I am doing for my work.

When I got it is looked way different than all of the AICSs I have seen in photos. Most notably was the area around the notch for the bolt, It doesn't fit well and it does not seem to have the little square reinforcement around the bolt notch.
If I put non-AI skins on this chassis it would just have a big hole there.

Does anyone know what the product is? Did AI change their Chassis?

What you are describing does not sound to me like a normal/standard AICS, including the newer ones I have seen in months that have the new forward NV/bipod rail attachment point. To my knowledge, AI has not made any changes along the lines you are talking about.

Like JTso said...PICS would go a long way toward addressing this issue.

I did some more research last night and I see it is the same on a clip from the Shot Show.
