Looking at doing a custom build from GAP with L/H bolt, short action. Wanted to run AI AX chassis but no dice. Got a recommendation for the XLR chassis but have never shot it or talked to anybody who has ran it (besides the person recommending it). Anyone have any experience/comments on the chassis?

Re: XLR Chassis- Any reviews??

really?

The XLR has it's own thread that is like 25 pages long, not to mention a few more here and there. If it's not on the first page, it's probably pretty close...or just use the search feature and it'll be right-up-der.

Unless you are opposed to an AR style grip, you will be very happy. I had my reservations, but bought one because of the "value" I saw in the product and I have been very happy with my 700 LA. I now plan on getting at 700 SA carbon and eventually a cz 527 inlet carbon. If for some reason you don't like it, I'm sure someone else will take it off your hands REAL quick, so its a bit of a no-brainer. I ordered mine back when the lead time was about 2 weeks and people hadn't caught on yet. Lead time is now at about 10 weeks... so that has to tell you something.
I tell you what... get a Carbon lightweight version and if you dont like it, I'll buy it off you. I believe a 700 will fit a Defiance/Templar inlet, correct?
