Re: Crimped Hornady Match brass?

I did notice that some factory hornady I shot had a light crimp in it. It was .308 178 BTHP non-superformance. I have not weighed them yet so I can not attest to the +10 grain claim. I will weigh tomorrow and post back.

Crimped hornady match? yes. Weight difference? didn't check. Its mixed in and untracked with my uncrimped hornady match and there's no odd flyers or inconsistencies I could blame on it, so if there is a difference its somewhere that doesn't matter.

Re: Crimped Hornady Match brass?

To me, crimped means military. Military .308 all too often is the smaller volume case for use in semi's and FA's.

Might be a good idea to check the H20 capacity of it versus a piece of commercial Hornady brass.
