That might work.I just measured and I have an AR here that measures 37 7/8" from butt-pad to muzzle break and I can SQUEEZE it into the case and have it zip up with no problems... What is your rifles actual overall length?

I was more or less stating what should fit--then I saw there's a longer case if you had a folder with 24" barrel. These work pretty good for bolt gun folders--and you would actually get the case after paying for it.

Ah gotcha... and I'm not sure who you've bought from before, but I can assure you that if you order from HCA, we WILL get the back sent out to you ASAP!

Got it Mike!

Fits great. Sako TRG-22 folder fits in the Galati 38" drag bag very well, even with the bipod attached. Managed to stuff both spare mags and the data book in the square outer pocket without any bolt handle interference. Rear bag and tools fit in the long external pocket, with enough room for something like a TAB Gear mat folded to fit. Just waiting on glass next week and the ATF F5320.4 to clear so I can utilize the can pouch! Thanks again!

That should work out for all the guys with AI 2.0's too. I'm asuming they're kinda chubby too when folded. I was definitely having issues finding a case wide enough to store a folded rifle and I just didn't want a 42-50" long case which kind of defeated the purpose of a compact folder for transport.

For a soft case these definitely have a lot of padding! I haven't found a soft case with more... they are about 3" thick outside to outside. Mine rides in the beds of my truck or on the back of a 4-wheeler multiple times a year over rough roads and I never worry about it. Though I'm of the mindset that guns are tools and meant to get dirty so YMMV!

mm.. well i bookmarked the website for when i get around to switching over, looks like a good deal to me, when i bought my gun the guy at the gun shop wanted to sell me a $100 shooting mat, and almost bought it but decided not to, and thats all it was, a roll up shooting mat, so for $79 more also get a gun case, so seems like a hell of a deal to me.

my friend and I purchased 2 Galati deluxe mats about 3 months ago. Today was the first day we had them out. His is perfect but mine is the same length, height but half as wide. It was a tight fit on my rifle and really pissed me off to see side by side with his bag.
We both bought from Wiskur tactical. I sent an email to Galati but I think I am screwed since I don't have a receipt.
I hope they make it right for me because I really wanted to like this company.

Something isn't quite right here... While I don't take every deluxe mat out of its case to compare to all they others, they have all been the same to my knowledge and I've had zero complaints. That's too bad about your experience!

Just curious, but are both yours and your friend's mats the same color? Did you order both at the same time?

We both ordered the tan one from Wiskur on the same day!
I emailed them and Galati after posting here.
I found my reciept (paypal) But I purchased on 9/30/12 and didn't get to use it until today. We don't have a local range longer than 100 yards so we plan a few trips to ranges out of town.
Man I am not happy!

Glad they are taking care of you. I think someone got sent a knockoff bag as this is the first I've heard of such an instance. I sent out quite a few of the Deluxe mats and they've all 'felt' the same (without opening them up to verify dimensions). I know they are a commonly copied design...

If anybody else is interested I still have quite a few in stock!

Gelati got involved too. They are taking over the exchange. It seems that they had a "design change" around the summer and although we both purchased from the same retailer on the same day they may have had both the older and the new design bag.
This was definitely not a Wiskur problem and I don't want anyone to think they did something wrong.
I think that Galati outsourced some mats and got a shipment of not quite to spec mats and they got sent out to accounts before someone realized. This is just my opinion and I have no evidence to this but it is being taken care of so I am ok with it.

I'm not surprised they are taking care of you. They've been a solid company to deal with as far as communication and resolving issues quickly.
