Re: McMillan Rhino Camo
It's basically a GA Precision Crusader with a longer barrel that I ordered as a dedicated F-T/R rifle. McMillan A5, Badger M5 DBM, Defiance Templar action in .308, 28" 1 in 9 twist Bartlein 5R barrel GAP #7 contour, Jewell trigger, Atlas bipod, Nightforce 12-42x56 NP-2DD in Badger 1.125" Alloy rings.
Just as you'd expect from a GAP, it's a laser. However, I had a specific plan for the 9-twist pipe that doesn't look like it's going to fly. Outside of my original plan, there's really no need for such a fast twist rate in .308, so I will probably have the barrel replaced sometime in the near future. As far as the stock, I have another Crusader and I just wanted something a little different. At a recent match, one individual said, "That's a nice looking rifle, but it isn't very <span style="font-style: italic">snipery</span>". I had to laugh at that one.
