Lone Wolf 9mm AR - The one that takes Glock mags

Anyone own one?

Local match here only allows pistol caliber carbines due to one of the ranges they use. I like the idea of the readily available Glock mags, fairly cheap, etc.

Anyone use one personally or seen one in use?

me too.
same deal with matches near me.
I can use a pistol caliber carbine and run ipsc.
Glock mag use would be EPIC.
someone on the HIDE has to have touched one.

I have one of each (Olympic K9GL and 1st generation Lone Wolf with an Olympic 9mm upper).

I definitely prefer the Olympic K9GL.

I do recall seeing that Lone Wolf is now offering a 2nd generation Glock lower and it's no-longer listed as compatible with the Olympic 9mm upper. Maybe it's an improvement.

Jason, CMMG builds a dedicated 9mm. lower, accepts Colt 9mm mags, no mag block/adaptor and runs great. Ive built 2 so far in a SBR platform and they're the shit,,,

I have one of their lowers that I use with a RMW Xtreme .40 DI upper. I had to file the magwell a bit to fit full .40 mags, but I love the combination. I have it set up as a pistol and the recoil is unbelievably soft (due to the DI upper).

I'd go DDLES over Lone wolf any day. Lone Wolf has been having or had QC issues for a bit. I'd pass.

I know it's tempting because I was looking at the lone wolf for a while.

One thing with Glock Mag lowers, your bolt carrier will have to be milled a little bit to properly clear the feed lips on the glock mags. The DDLES bolt is already machined that way, albeit on the more pricey side.
