I found this today and if I was the suspicious type, I would think it was a "bug" of some type. Anyone have any idea what it is?

It unscrews and has a small watch battery inside and it has a magnet on the bottom.

It flashes through several different colors and has a magnetic back. It's a toy.

Well just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they ARENT out to get you...

In your defense it does look a lot like a wall contact mic. Plus you're a US citizen living in the states: The NSA is the one who spies on you.

Says who? I think the lines are <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-style: italic">way</span></span> more blurred than they tell us.

Not to mention the body of law previous to that and the EO concerning intelligence gathering CONUS. I'm not arguing as the PATRIOT act could have easily changed that too with all the boondoggle in it.

^^ LOL, Grimm how silly of you. You think 'laws' actually mean something...

Maybe it's a bug designed to look like a toy light...

When they cared about such things 20 years ago their work-around was to contract the Brits to spy on Americans and then receive the info second-hand. This charade even passed muster with US courts. Who is surprised?
