First stand of the morning called in a double, it came in to 48 yards so i let em have it. and then out of the bush it was standing next to out jumped another one. i took a running shot on it but missed...

This was the second stand of the day. He was on a dead run right toward me. I was setup on a hill. he was about to get into some thick sage brush so I WOOPPED at him and he stopped just short of the thick sage brush. I did not know the range so i held on its face and let it fly. and down it went. after the shot i ranged it at 240 yards. I shot it right in its nose hole.

That shit looks like it would be a blast. They are all over northeast Fl. and southeast Ga. but its so damn think you can't see them.

Re: 4th and 5th coyote

Great job, man. I have to call many, many stands to bring down five coyotes in my area.

Is there some reason you aren't waiting for the fur to turn?
Control work? Maybe prime dogs aren't worth much in your area?

Not busting your chops, just curious. I know it's fun year round as long as they're responding.

To kill 'em. The bounty is the same whether they are perty hides or not
