    We are working on the video everyone has been asking for, so here is a little teaser trailer I put together as we work on the project.

    The majority is done, there are some small edits left to finish and then I have to see what special features I want to add, so barring anything crazy I am hoping early to mid Fall, is the projected release date.

    It will be available via DVD and we have the major sections broken up so I can include them on a new Pay Per View basis we'll be adding to the site, so you can get the main lesson individually online here on SH.

    It's our first video, which is why I am calling it "Day One" so it doesn't have a lot of whiz bang, cool guy elements but i wanted a training dvd that started you off with the basics in a logical order so then we can progress with other discs getting more cool guy, more advanced. Its was more about the material than the look.

    There is definitely no sales pitches and gimmicks in it, it's just straight forward. The lessons are not geared towards any one product or type of product, it's more about executing the fundamentals correctly.

    We tried to make it as high a quality as we could, and the key was having good audio too... if you note the wind blowing, understand it is really cranking out there, 15 MPH + in some cases, and you can still hear what I am saying. We left in some audio of the wind to give it context, but we wanted good quality in not just the video but all elements of the project. No pre-order details, as I get closer I will update.

    Glad you started out with what you call the basics or fundamentals. I'm sure there is plenty in there for me to learn. I will keep an eye out for it.

    I am excited for this cause I am not as happy with the magpul vids as I thought I would be and this looks right up my alley "day one"

    Frank, what is that smoke device? That would be helpful during a shooting session. Something that would smoke for a while.

    Lot of guys are in or within driving range of Colorado, did CRC ever show any interest in you running some training out there?

    I have been doing classes up North at Trigger Time Gun Club who recently leased a 6000 acre ranch for LR Classes.

    We had our second class last weekend, and will be continue to hold at least 1 a month, some months more.

    The "wind segment" was actually shot at Trigger TIme's location. and here is a screen shot from our class last weekend. They have two areas open, with about 50 pieces of steel set up. One KD to 1000 and 1 UKD area with targets to 1200. (Although the first class we had a piece out to 1 Mile) The Range is capable of supporting classes out to 2500m.

    As far as CRC, they had no interest in training, you can hold as many competitions as you want but as soon as you step into training they said no. you can host "free" clinics, but as you soon as you charge for classes you get denied.

    Trigger Time Gun Club in Longmont, contact them for details, I have no idea what their schedule is, they just tell me we are having a class and I show up.

    I think I know what my stocking stuffer is going to be this year! Be interesting to see how many of them will get vol.2 once available.

    Please, make it in BluRay... so we can see the film out of US Region DVD.

    Or make it multi-region DVD, so people of all countries can see the DVD.

    Looks nice. Is trigger time planning on expanding the range facilities to that ranch? For shooting beyond 100yds for members.

    No my understanding is, it will not be open to members to use unless it is a Trigger Time sanctioned event with Trigger Time staff on hand. It's strictly for classes.

    I will see what I can do about the DVD and multi region.

    pretty much all common dvd players can be programmed to take multi region discs , with a simple sequence of buttons on your remote. if you google it with your specific model of dvd player you should find it.

    am looking forward to this DVD, i didnt like how the Magpul one seemed to just be promoting products rather than skill sets , easy ways around things rather than fundamentals etc.

    I was just getting ready to apply for the on line training course than noticed your new training video. I am not a sniper but very interested in long range shooting and hunting. Does the DVD cover the same material as the online course? Which would you recommend for me? I am new to true long range shooting and want to learn as much as possible. Thanks for your input.

    Damn, I think I learned more from that trailer than from the entire Magpul DVD Set.
