Yes you can do it.
But strip the fine threads in the turret and you have a BIG repair bill on your part from nifgtforce. It will VOID the warranty.

Have to agree. You can do it but the warranty will be shot. Might be better to using good markings or sell on the HIDE and get one with zero stop.

No, You have to tighten the clutches down and then tighten 4 screws at the top to hold them in place. Vortex uses shims.
