NFL scab officials suck

Re: NFL scab officials suck

Yeah they were pretty bad in our game also. They have to review every friggin call to see if they screwed up or not. Will be a long season for sure.

Re: NFL scab officials suck

I love when they run up to announce the call, but they are only about 70% sure it is the right call, they just look around like a lost puppy for a few seconds before calling it.

Don't worry though, any of them calling a 'Niner's game will get a hard knock education via Jim Harbaugh

Re: NFL scab officials suck

these guys can't call a game to save their lives.

Re: NFL scab officials suck

I am boycotting the NFL this year. The Saints suspensions and what not related to that whole situation. Last time I checked football was a contact sport, to go to such great lengths to penalize a team for playing aggressive defense is bullshit and I will not watch a snap this year, once the coach is back on the sidelines I will start watching again, even though everytime a quarterback gets touched they throw the flag and if some one makes a great hit they get the shit fined out of them! I know, the players safety blah blah, they are paying those guys MILLIONS to go out and play a rough game...cry me a river....rant over.... as you were gentlemen!

It isn't bullshit, putting money on the table to injure someone is a crime in every state of this nation. Game or not that is a crime, I am curious to see if they are eventually prosecuted in either criminal or civil court.

Re: NFL scab officials suck

In my notion if the defense isn't trying to hurt someone on every play then they are just not playing hard enough!

Except no one put money up to injure anyone. Why do you think the NFL arbitrator repealed Goodell's punishment? It was because there is no evidence of a bounty system. Only a pay for performance system which is completely different.

Re: NFL scab officials suck

Goodell didn't want to show what he had. It might be that he didn't have anything on Fujita, Vilma, et. al. but it could also just be that he didn't want to share anything. The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence, haha.

Even if Goodell doesn't have any evidence of money on the table, the tape recording of Gregg Williams' pregame speech was over the line. Particularly when he outlined other players' previous injuries and to target those players.

If intentionally injuring other players to gain an edge becomes okay, I'll jump into coaching and pair James Harrison, Nick Fairley, Ndamukong Suh, Pacman Jones, etc. and let them run will. Won't have to play a second half all year as injuries will force 16 forfeits!

The coaches were warned multiple times, but the players were never given any warning... just boom! banned! That's why Vilma's suspension was reversed.

Re: NFL scab officials suck

I put money on a lot of games, and when you have money on it you notice a lot of details.. Even before the Replacements, I myself think there are about 5 blown calls a game on average, with the replacement refs, maybe 6 blown calls? I think people are noticing it more now.

College Refs seems to be solid... but I heard these guys are High School Refs hahahaaha... not too bad for newbies.

Re: NFL scab officials suck

Eric, you must be talking to yourself again because no one can take you seriously per your Penn State comments in another thread.
