Ok so I have a Couple Bell And Carlson stocks on a short action and long action 700. I really like the vertical grip but the foreend is just too wide and flat. What stock has the vertical grip but has a better foreend. I was looking at the manners but it is hard to tell from pictures and thats alot of money to get the samething I have. Thanks a lot.

Re: Vertical grip stocks

I really like the McMillan A-3, I assume the Manners T2 is somewhat similar.

Re: Vertical grip stocks

I will check these out thanks for the suggestions. I like the mcmillians but the wait always changes my mind. Thanks again.

Or you could break out the belt sander and narrow it for free.

Re: Vertical grip stocks

I've been considering using like a 1/2" or 3/8" round over but in a router on my B&C A5. Just the forearm section that is wider that the action block area. I know there will most likley be some air pockets and will open up some voids but I thought just fill them with Devcon then texture it over the top.
I would like to produce something like a beaver tail forearm or like the McM A5
