Yeah, I am anxious too. I think my wife beat me on centerfire, but pretty sure I got her on the rimfire!

Smack the SMILEY 2012 Summer Results

Congrats to <span style="font-weight: bold">Matchking and Carter Mayfield</span> our SUMMER Match Winners! Not to mention 2 of the most consistent shooters that play this game. Nice going guys!


<span style="font-weight: bold">With the SUMMER match, we raised another $336 for AmericanSnipers.org!! That puts the total over $9000 raised from the Smack the Smiley Match!</span>

Competition was tough as usual, with many good scores and some very small groups. You gotta nail everything to be near the top. The top 9 CF targets were over 200 and the top 14 RF targets, crazy!

Best score for me ever on the Rimfire. I was tickled about that one, but I knew there would be many shooters to best that score. I am really in need of building the competition rifle for it.

I just can't seem to catch back up on the Centerfire anymore. Funny thing is, I practice on copies of the Smiley targets all the time. Too bad the score doesn't reflect what the practice targets look like.

Andrea did really good for this one. I am very proud of her for hanging in there and shooting with me. She is just the best!!

Wow. Those CF scores are getting out of hand. I am truly humbled. Jason scored me higher than I thought on RF. Funny. SevenMM had the exact same score AND group size last match for RF that I had this match.

Thanks to Jason and our sponsors for a great match. I sent my gun back to the shop for a little trigger cleanup. Hopefully, I will improve on my CF next outing...

I am glad my new "favorite rifle" performed well in it's first Smiley match, requiring only one CF target to be used! Now I have to spend some money at EuroOptic!!

I didn't want you to get beat by your own rifle - you may have regretted getting rid of it. Plus, I have yet to perfect my Brittish accent, so I feel slightly out of place shooting her.

Bloody hell, I didn't realize the accent was part of the deal. I guess I'll have to work on that.
