Guys,
I ordered my Titan-QD last Nov. Has anyone else been waiting a significant period of time just to get their can to their FFL? I called AAC and they said they only manufacture the Titan-QD a few times a year.

Anyone on the Hide who works for AAC that can answer some questions?

Re: AAC Titan-QD ORDERED

Mike Mers stops by here every once in awhile but your best bet is to call them. I just got my Titan Ti QD on Monday, it was a long 6 months but well worth.

Your better move would have been to locate one in stock at another dealer and transfer it in. I always avoid the manufacturing process if I can help it.

Have your SOT call Bryon Gaston @ Major Malfunction and ask if he has any. He is now one of AAC's largest stocking dealers!

Re: AAC Titan-QD ORDERED

I got mine from Allen Arms. I ordered it at the Silencer Shoot at T1. Not sure if he has any left.

So you know you are not allowed to do something via store because you are not a paid sponsor, but you do it anyway... AND now your trying to sell on here under the required amount of posts?! Come on man...... double fail.

Re: AAC Titan-QD ORDERED

To publicly break the rules blatantly is one thing..... but going private message is another.

Re: AAC Titan-QD ORDERED

You are correct. I am sorry i broke the rules and if a mod would see that my posts should be deleted and i get banned or whatever i would understand.

I posted without thinking

Re: AAC Titan-QD ORDERED

As long as you're not the owner of the store selling the silencers then why is it a problem to refer someone to that store? It's no different than referring people to any other company that is not a supporter of the site. I constantly see referrals to buds gun shop or major malfunction almost everyday

You answered your own question. You dont work at either place. The above DOES work at that place. Conflict of interest and its stepping on the toes of the guys that pay the money to be here. There is no sense in arguing about it anymore, it's in the rules that Frank has posted.

Re: AAC Titan-QD ORDERED

OK, i got this off topic so i will try to get it back on.

Try Scott at Silenced America [email protected] sponsor and has prob the best prices now that M3 is dealer only

Dont get me wrong, I'm all for supporting vendors getting preference to sell. My point is that you never know who has an interest in a company. Thats, why I feel that recommendations to any dealer/distributor should be kept quiet, unless that company is a paid sponsor. Not trying to argue, thats just my opinion and I completely respect the moderators judgement.

Re: AAC Titan-QD ORDERED

Since its allowed and to help the OP

Contact Vaughn at autoweapons.com if you really Want one quick. He will have it, but you will pay msrp. Thats the go to man when all else fails.

My apologies for crapping on your thread.

Re: AAC Titan-QD ORDERED

I made the mistake of ordering a Titan that was not in stock. Not only did I wait for over a year for it to get to my dealer, but AAC dropped the price on them in the meantime (no, I didn't get the difference in price refunded).
If you can cancel your order, I would strongly suggest finding a dealer (even if it is not local) that has one in stock.

Re: AAC Titan-QD ORDERED

A local shop had one but I can't be certain they still have the QD model, I know they have the thread on model.
