Purchased fnar as new in box ( 0 rds fired by owner) 3 x 20 rd mags, nikon 4.5x14 x40 buckmasters scope with bdc,weaver grand slam steel rings x 3(wtf?) caldwell swivel bipod, sling and original box for everything
850 plus 32 to my ffl... Do you think that is a reasonable deal??

ANy fnar owners out there? Tips,tricks, past model numbers( want to see if it is a heavy or standard model)

I had a FNAR a couple of years ago. Solid rifle with no recoil at all for a .308. It would shoot tight groups all day but I got rid of it to fund another procjet.Good price for sure so yeah you came out ahead

Heck of a price on a good rifle. Only complaints I have heard of was the trigger was pretty creepy, like most Browning (FN) triggers. There are people who can fix that trigger, if it doesn't suit you.

I am in a mil school in VA. The Rifle is being shipped to my ffl in NY. I tested the trigger on this at time of purchase it breaks crisp and repeatedly at 3.75 lbs. Was unsure which model it was for sure so went and looked it over again today and weighed it. It is the heavy version as it weighs a little over 9.25 without a mag. Will try and get some pics in end of Sept when I return.
