I have done some searching on here and cannot find my answer.

I have ordered a NF 5.5-22x56 (glass upgrading) and will be mounting it on an MWS. I would like a 20 MOA 1-piece mount that will be as close to the rail as possible with the 56mm objective. Can someone suggest some options that would work, I would like just enough clearance to get the bikini covers on but get as close to the rail as possible. I would like to keep it under $300. Thanks and sorry if my search-fu is lacking.

Re: Need options for 1-piece AR mount

You need a mount in the 1.4" range. Our 1.45" mount puts the objective around a tenth of an inch above the rail (it'll vary a bit depending upon how far forward the scope is mounted, whether or not you're using a sunshade, etc). You can go a bit lower than that, it's up to you how tight a squeeze you want for the covers.

Re: Need options for 1-piece AR mount

The NF unimount looks a bit "dainty" and I am not a fan of the silver brackets and screws.

Jon- I like your mount, it just made my short list. With the 20moa mount and sunshade installed I will have clearance for the bikini cover lip correct?

I also was looking at the spuhr mounts, does anyone know if I would have a problem with the medium hight 20moa mount that is NON-cantelevered? With the LMT mono upper rail I was hoping there would not be a problem with the mount position being slightly forward of the barrel/receiver interface and at almost $100 less than the AR mount it puts it close to my budget.

Re: Need options for 1-piece AR mount

Our 30 mm mounts are either 30mm high 1,25" and 1,46" high (cantilever)
We have other heights as well But the mostly variations and heights are in 34mm

Yup. It may be a tight squeeze depending on the thickness of the rubber, but you'll be able to squeeze it on.
