I am trying to figure out the different tan colors used in the McMillan stocks, it is difficult to determine the actual shades of the tan colors used on their website. I am thinking about having a stock completed with the swirled in Tan color and I want to use the tan that matches closest to the S&B 5-25x56 PM II tan scope. If anyone has any photos of your stocks with the marble in colors it would be helpful or recommendations of the color that would match the S&B. McMillan offers three types dark, medium, and light tans. I am thinking about going with 60% OD, 20% BLK, and 20% tan.

Looking at the McMillan website it looks like the best match might be the painted dark earth and not the tans available in the swirl.
You can look in my posts to see a tan sentinel with the same scope. Sorry for not posting direct link, not sure how to do it on my tablet.

Here is one in medium tan 50%, OD 35% and medium brown 15%. You can see that the lighting changes the shades of the colors a bit.
