Well my wife is now pregnant and I've decided to hang up my gun belt.

I wont be going overseas anymore. I'm dedicating myself to working at Griffin Armament full time and finishing my degree in a business school I've been attending on and off for awhile now.

We are launching alot of new products and have a new business model that is getting alot of interest. Things are going well. Its a new chapter for me but its exciting none the less.

I thought this was a pretty entertaining photo though.

Re: My last trip overseas....

i was on a flight like that a few times. on one of these occasions we all had to remove the bolt from our rifle and carry it in our pockets. Unfortunately for me, i was carrying a 240-B. Not real comfy in the pocket lol... cool pic for sure.

Congratulations on the upcoming baby!

Re: My last trip overseas....

Thank you, and congratulations. Best of luck for your future endeavors. I'm sure we're going to be enjoying some of that, too.

(future products, that is)

Re: My last trip overseas....

I remember flying into Kuwaiti International Airport in 2003. We boarded the plane with our M-16s but had to give up our nail clippers. Never understood that one.

damn contractors get to have all the fun! haha. best of luck with your new career.... A. Griffin is a stand up guy. I see all three of us have something in common (11b/4b... I served with 101st 2/502 OIF 1&3) and just graduated with a business degree as well. Guns and capitalism go hand in hand here in the states... you guys shouldn't have a problem making a profit!

Didn't have to remove the bolts but i did have to lug my assembled M107 and M4 on a bunch of planes. One included a small jumper plane. Thing was almost touching the ceiling in my seat.

Re: My last trip overseas....

In 2004 we had to lay them on the floor under our seats. I was pissed about my 203 tube getting hung up until I looked over at our saw gunner trying to get his 249 under his seat. Brings a smile to my face still today.

Thanks for sharing the pic.
