didn't know they even made it. my two cents is 338LM is for precision long distance, and so cheap ammo sort of defeats that purpose. And the price for the good stuff is prohibitive to buy for hobby usage, so most of us end up reloading.

I try not to pre judge things based on price. I don't intend to reload so I'm looking for price/performance. if I can hit a 20x30 plate at 1500yds for $3 instead of $5+, I'll be a happy guy. The s&w uses a 250gr Sierra Match hpbt .....a good start. Guess I'll have to research this one my self.

Started with hornady. Brass nt compatable with 110ba. 2 in 10 got stuck! Not sure what else to try

Buy a box and see is probably the only reasonable approach.
The factory is local to me. Their product usually is "good" for the money, but nothing top notch. The 308 MATCH load was better than nothing before I started reloading, but I wouldn´t even look back. Also, Sellier got bought by Magtech some time earlier. They do manufacture pistol & shotgun rounds here in CZ, but only some of the rifle loads. Exotics are quite certainly foreign made, and there´s not much market locally for the 338 or any big magnum for that matter. Who the hell can know, then, where those rounds are outsourced from. L.

I'll be shooting 1000yds on tuesday. I'll provide feedback after my shoot. I used to reload pistol and rifle many years ago when I competed. No longer have the patience or desire so I accept what factory ammo gives me. I'm hoping the S&B is acceptable because the next level is Lapua at twice the price! Or I may try Dallas Reloading.
