The F1 is a great scope, I have one on my GAP-10. I'd personally like a little more magnification for the setup you describe, but maybe I'm a little more needy than most.

Here the OP seeks to get rid of the negative emotion and settle on the positive one. So it's more like buyer's remorse.
Interesting: According to behavioral economists, most people who have chosen a thing automatically prefer that thing to the alternative.
But I have heard that not choosing the MLR2 reticle has the opposite effect.
