Can anyone tell me the difference between the Stiller Tac 30 inlet and the S/A Remington 700 inlet? I'm looking at a stock for a 700, and found one for a Stiller tac 30.

Also, will a bdl floorplate fit in the HS precision dbm inlet?

Re: Difference in inletting

That's what I was thinking about the action inlet. Thanks.

Re: Difference in inletting

Sorry, but this will not work properly. The Stiller Tac-30 inlet is not cut out for the Remington bolt stop on the left side of the trigger, so the bolt release will not funtion in this stock. Also, the action will be help up a bit above touching the stock at the rear tang because of interferance in this area. Also the Stiller bolt notch is a straight bolt notch and will not clear the slanted Remington bolt handle.
If they were interchangeable then we would not have to have seperate programs for each of them.

Re: Difference in inletting

Thanks for the clarification Mr. Davis. It will be 14 weeks before my barrel will be ready anyway. I'll just let this one go and look for another when my barrel comes in.
