Well, do you want it to be more AI like or TRG like? Both are good chassis that serve their purpose. The magazines used are identical, so that's a wash.
Personally, I'd go with an AX AICS chassis. I jut like the feel of an AX better and really like the extended rail for odd position shooting and the built in ability for NV devices.

Try and get behind both. I love the TRG chassis and am not at all comfortable behind an AI. Try both and see what you like.

I run the Whiskey chassis on my GAP 260 and really like how comfortable it is to shoot. I have shot the AI and its nice just doesn't fit me as well

I really like the AICS with viper skins on it. I like the whiskey 3 in every area other than one part of the butt stock. There is a piece of metal that hangs down and is about 2 inches behind the pistol grip that will hit your hand if you are shooting off a rear bag. It would hit me at least. It doesn't hit your hand that hard but after about 50 rounds I got tired of it.

I have an AICS right now and its a great chassis. I am currently waiting on the Viper Skins from Mile High and have heard great things about them. My next build will be with a Whiskey 3 chassis after handling one a few weeks ago. I will agree with everyone above, get your hands on both and see what is best for you, but I don't think you could go wrong either way.

AICS 2.0. Stock folds to get out of the way for cleaning the bore without having to fool with removing or lowering the cheek piece. Smooth all over; no pointy grips or handles to snag on stuff (this is one reason I haven't tried Viper skins). I like thumbholes because they let me position my hand correctly, quickly and easily, each and every time, using my thumb as an anchor; my thumb slides back in the hole and my hand knows where it is.
You really have to get behind them to decide. IMO it is not fully appreciated how important it is to fit the stock to yourself.

From an engineering standpoint the AI does a better job of transfering recoil directly reward. I have two of them and I may some day find a better chassis but for now they are one of the best pieces on the market. I have both the 1.5 and the 2.0. I haven't found the 2.0 to be all that much more convenient and the folding mechanism adds weight. Overall I prefer the 1.5.
