I am intrigued by the AX PSRII Rifle and its quick change barrel system. What are your guys thoughts on adding a set screw in the side of a badger M2008 action to emulate the system that the AX PSRII Rifle uses for the quick change barrel system.

A quick change barrel in a M2008 would be awesome, if it could be done at the same price point. Marty would sell a bunch of them for sure. He should partner with GAP to chamber the barrels and then give me a bunch to beta test.

Does anyone have a picture of a the threads for a barrel? Is the bolt on the side of the rifle used as an index or a clamping mechanism?
I like the idea of the barrels having a groove at the bottom where the bolt can index the barrel at the same spot every time, and also prevent it from spinning off.

It's more than just a screw run up against the threads of the barrel tenon. Come to the Shot Show or buy the PSR kit and have a look is all I can say.
