So yesterday I had 50 new brass .338 Lapua with 300 scenars on top of 91.0gr of h1000. Shot 50 , no issues. Then I had 35 once fired, neck sized, the rest the same. Of the 35, about 4 had some effort to lift the bolt and eject. Nothing that needed to be smacked to get out, but harder then normal. No other over pressure signs. I'm new to lapua reloading so was noT expecting to have to bump the shoulder back after 1 firing. Wondering what you think the issue might be. Oh, it's in a DTA SRS.

You have a hot load that showed no pressure on new brass but did show pressure with your tighter fire formed brass.

I would say you should back it down a bit. That or take your chances and bump the shoulder a couple thousandths every firing.

Savage's 110BA 338 Lapua does not like the case length Sierra
suggests

I had jam after jam until I trimmed the case down a little

Try trimming your case down to 2.714"

Sierra said 2.724.....it jams every time at that length
